EasySIM (to be called LearnYog) Transforms Leadership Training Ecosystem: Integrated Learning Platform Slashes Operations Costs by 68%

Our client, a leader in Leadership Trainings for Managers, offers classroom, blended and online learning experiences globally. To effectively manage their extensive ecosystem of training resources, online courses, partners and trainers, they relied on multiple platforms: a leading Learning Management System (LMS) a world leading video streaming service, a document hosting and management platform, and a trainer management platform. However, this fragmented approach has posed significant challenges. They struggle to deliver a seamless, cohesive experience to their customers and partners, leading to increased operational complexity and high costs. Partners have expressed concerns over customer churn resulting from this intricate web of solutions.

Through a comprehensive analysis, it was decided that consolidating these systems into a fully integrated learning platform can resolve these issues effectively.

Solution

After careful consideration, the client selected EasySIM as their go to platform to address both current needs and future growth. The EasySIM customer success team collaborated closely with the client stakeholders to devise a comprehensive migration plan, ensuring zero disruption to their existing customers.

During the initial four weeks of rollout, it was decided to run EasySIM alongside the older platforms in parallel for two weeks. This phase focused on migrating all videos from the previous video streaming service to EasySIM servers and updating video links in each course SCORM package accordingly. Over 200+ SCORM courses were seamlessly migrated to EasySIM with updated video links within 2 weeks. Additionally, training resources such as presentations, facilitator guides, student workbooks, and job aids were quickly moved to EasySIM’s document management module. Bulk registrations were performed for partners, trainers and their associated users and cohorts, with learning paths assigned to mirror the old system.

A carefully crafted automated communication strategy was implemented to notify users of the transition from the old system to EasySIM. Leveraging EasySIM’s data-driven insights, the team identified users who engaged with the communication and those who did not, ensuring automated timely follow-ups for non-responders. Continuous monitoring of click-through rates (CTR) facilitated adjustments to optimize communication effectiveness to achieve 100% user migration on EasySIM.

Once learners began successfully accessing e-learning modules and assessments, various training resources were progressively introduced. Administrators, training managers, and trainers began scheduling instructor-led training (ILT) and virtual ILT (vILT) events directly through EasySIM. They efficiently managed the distribution of training assets and tracked attendance via a unified dashboard, which also provided insights into trainer schedules, batch sizes, and locations.

With EasySIM, the client gained the ability to create comprehensive learning paths without relying on multiple systems. The platform seamlessly integrates various training modalities including e-learning, video, documents, assessments, simulations, and ILT/vILT/webinar events. Learners were also empowered to self-nominate for unassigned courses based on their interest, user feedback and ratings. Peer-to-peer learning through threaded discussions was also rolled out to discussed both assigned and unassigned courses.

From week six onwards, having achieved stability in their training ecosystem within the initial rollout phase of four weeks, the client began exploring EasySIM’s advanced authoring capabilities. This included utilizing SVASU, a DIY tool for converting PDFs, PPTs, and videos into SCORM-compliant e-learning content. They are also starting to leverage EasySIM’s robust Content Management System (CMS) to design and develop complex, competency-mapped learning events, simulations, and assessments. This capability enabled them to enhance their existing offerings and launch a new product line focused on leadership simulations by reusing their existing training assets and resources. Additionally, they started using EasySIM’s subjective assessment workflow to effectively evaluate compliance, on-the-job performance and job readiness.

In summary, EasySIM provided a unified solution that streamlined operations, enhanced user experience, and facilitated continuous innovation in training delivery for the client.

Results:

Within the first three months of implementing EasySIM, the client achieved significant returns:

  • Partner and trainer satisfaction increased by 8%.
  • Course participation and completion rates rose by 17%.
  • New enrollments grew by 2.5%.
  • Platform administration time was reduced by 53% on a month-to-month basis.
  • Total cost of ownership decreased by 68%.

These improvements are positively contributing to enhanced customer loyalty and increased brand awareness as a company that is at the forefront of learning ecosystem innovation. Encouraged by these positives, the client is now exploring the possibility of expanding EasySIM to support multi-lingual training, with dedicated platform instances for each language.
